We took a drive then a walk up in the hills above Palo Alto. I’m making progress as far as being able to walk without my walker while still relying on Eva’s steady arm. We covered a little over a mile. As we were walking along, I started remembering all the wildflowers we came across: Blue-eyed Grass, California Poppies, Pink Mallows, Purple Owl’s Clover, even Poison Oak. Eva remarked that I was even able to carry on a conversation while walking. Little by little…
Tomorrow is another day off from the clinic. Sometimes just not having anything planned is a treat! We’ll take it as it comes.
